Social and mobile game developer and publisher Game Insight has announced a slew of new Halloween content updates for its games across mobile devices and Facebook. From helping Dracula prepare for Halloween in 2020 My Country to defeating zombies and ghosts in Cloud Raiders, there looks to be something for everyone this spooky Halloween season. Here’s a look at the company’s updates on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Amazon mobile devices.
The revitalized Big Huge Games (formerly SecretNewCo), in partnership with Nexon, has announced the development of the company’s debut mobile title, DomiNations. The studio, founded by 23-year industry veteran Brian Reynolds, is a reincarnation of the original Big Huge Games (itself formed in 2000), which saw Reynolds and his team creating Rise of Nations and Rise of Legends, prior to the studio’s closure in 2012. DomiNations is described as an “epic, strategic combat game” which focuses more on advancement through time and exploration than other titles in the genre.

Just a few weeks after releasing Pokemon TCG Online on iPad, The Pokemon Company has released another new mobile app in the extremely popular universe of these lovable critters: Camp Pokemon. The entertainment app is categorized as being made for ages 6-8, and takes players to an island filled with Pokemon-themed activities.
Zynga has announced the launch of New Words with Friends on mobile devices, introducing a huge update to players of the multiplayer word game, with this update focused on introducing the features players have asked for most over the years. New Words with Friends now offers single-player gameplay for practicing one’s skills, a dictionary and more, all in celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary.
Last month, EA Mobile announced the development of SimCity BuildIt for iOS and Android devices. The free-to-play game is being specifically designed for “gamers on the go,” and will allow users to build the city of their dreams, making real choices that impact the future of their city.
In this new installment in the popular franchise, players will construct factories, build homes and commercial buildings, engage with a new crafting system, and even focus on certain specializations to keep their citizens happy, among other features.

Mobli Media, creator of the Mobli content sharing mobile app, has announced it has acquired fellow content sharing platform Pheed, in a cash and stock deal. The terms of the acquisition haven’t been disclosed, but Mobli has announced it will invest $10 million into the “remake” of the Pheed app, which will remain a stand-alone platform.
Super Evil Megacorp is preparing for the upcoming release of Vainglory, its multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA) for iPad 2+ and iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Set for release in October, the game sees players competing in 3-vs-3 team battles, as they control a single hero and work with their partners to destroy a giant crystal, called the Vain, in the enemy’s base. Vainglory takes advantage of the A8 chip technology and Metal SDK to create a console-like experience for players, even on smartphones.
