WWE SuperCard2K and Cat Daddy Games have announced the release of a major content update for WWE SuperCard, the collectible trading card game that sees users collecting cards representing their favorite Superstars and Divas and taking them into matches against other real players. The update adds more than 60 new cards for potential collection, new in-ring animations for cards and much more.

Peggle Blast Coming to iOS, Android on December 2 [Interview]

Peggle BlastEarlier this year, Electronic Arts and PopCap announced the development of Peggle Blast, a free-to-play installment in the popular franchise, which challenges players to shoot balls at pegs to remove them from the screen. Fiksu: iOS Downloads Hit All-Time High in October

App Store Competitive Index October 2014User acquisition and marketing company Fiksu has released its indexes for October 2014, which show the full impact of the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as well as Apple’s iOS 8 operating system. The App Store Competitive Index, which tracks the average number of daily downloads for the top 200 free iPhone apps in the US, hit an all-time high in October, at 7.8 million. That’s an increase of 42 percent over September and an increase of 39 percent year-over-year.

Apple Launches Apps for (RED) Campaign to Support World AIDS Day

Apple - World AIDS DayIn support of World AIDS Day, Apple has transformed the front page of the iTunes App Store, partnering with a number of developers to highlight (RED)-specific versions of their apps on iOS devices. From now until December 7, 2014, each time a user purchases a (PRODUCT)RED participating app (or in-app content within those apps), 100 percent of the proceeds go to the Global Fund to fight AIDS.

Amazon Game Studios Launches Tales from Deep Space on Kindle Fire

Tales from Deep SpaceFirst announced in July 2014, Amazon Game Studios’ Tales from Deep Space is now available to download on Kindle Fire tablets. The game takes players to a space station called Big Moon, where they’ll jump into the shoes of traveling salesman E, alongside a luggage drone named CASI. Upon arriving on Big Moon, players discover the station’s computer system is offline and E is robbed, leading players on a mission to recover E’s stolen property. Things quickly go from bad to worse for E, as his quest turns into one of discovery, surrounding the station’s mysteries.
