Web-clipping app Sight has launched for readers on iOS, allowing users to snap screenshots of articles they’d like to read, but just don’t have time to at the moment. Instead of bookmarking articles, or copying and pasting URLs, the app analyzes screenshots to pull in the original articles, in their entirety, from the original web sources.
Dreamgate Studios has announced the upcoming release of its first mobile title, Light in the Dark. Created by a team of industry veterans, with experience with top franchises including Bioshock, Fallout and X-Com, the game combines physics and puzzles in level-based play. Gamers are challenged with reuniting colorful totem creatures with their babies, with doing so requiring the manipulation of colored light beams.

Today at Casual Connect in San Francisco, RealNetworks’ GameHouse division has announced the upcoming release of Slingo Adventure, a new mobile and Facebook title in the long-running Slingo franchise which combines bingo and slot machines into one gameplay experience.
RealNetworks acquired the Slingo brand last year, and GameHouse has been hard at work creating a new experience for existing franchise fans and newcomers alike. Speaking with us, GameHouse vice president of studio Ken Murphy said the team’s goal was to create “a really modern adaptation of the classic franchise.”
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has a new app for pet owners. It’s particularly useful for when the worst might happen – if you have a missing pet or if you’re in a natural disaster. Leading retailer Target is testing its newest iOS app, In a Snap, which works to help users learn more information about, and gain access to purchasing Target-branded items displayed in advertisements in magazines or catalogs.
The app uses the camera on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices to recognize items, and then shows users additional information about the products. From there, the item(s) can be added to the user’s cart and purchased.
Ad-free music service Radical.FM has launched on Google Play, bringing Android users access to the service’s 25 million searchable tracks and pre-created stations. While the existence of a free, commercial-free radio experience might be hard to believe, Radical.FM offers its ad-free service on a “pay what you can” donation basis. This business model allows Radical.FM to support artists, composers and labels for the music streamed within the app.
Make it Rain developer Space Inch has announced it has entered into a long-term partnership with mobile entertainment network and publisher Scopely, which will see the publisher acquire Space Inch’s Disco Bees. The partnership will also add Make it Rain to Scopley’s ad network, and will see the two companies working together on future Space Inch games.
