Mobile customer acquisition company YouAppi has announced it has raised $3 million in Series A funding, in a round led by Glilot Capital Partners, 2B-Angels and Flint Capital. The company has also announced its mobile customer acquisition solution, which guarantees higher customer lifetime value and focuses on post-conversion performance, rather than just installs.

2K has today announced the launch of NHL 2K on mobile devices. The game was developed by Visual Concepts, a 2K studio, in partnership with Virtuos, and introduces players to multiple gameplay modes, including a new My Career mode for shaping and living the career of a custom hockey player (this mode lasts multiple seasons). Another new mode, Mini Rink, allows players to compete in “competitive and fast-paced” three-on-three matches.
Some magic has come to the world of EA’s The Sims FreePlay on mobile, as this year’s Halloween update is now available to download on iOS, Android and Amazon devices. This update comes along with a new store, new pets and new hobbies for players to enjoy during this spookiest time of the year. There’s even a new storyline here, as players must earn the help of Sim Town’s resident wizard, who will help them save the neighborhood from “impending doom.”
Zero-trace camera and photo platform Hidely has launched on iOS devices, giving users access to a secret gallery and secure camera for protecting their private photos. Photos taken with the app, or imported into the Hidely gallery, are protected via double encryption technology, and users must enter a passcode before ever entering the app.
Back in July 2014, Magic Pixel Games and Bandai Namco announced Outcast Odyssey, the pair’s collectible card battle game, for mobile. The game has now officially launched on iOS and Android devices, taking players to a world where the strategy of card-battle games meets RPG-inspired dungeon crawling. In Outcast Odyssey, users explore environments to collect new cards, hopefully creating a stronger deck with every encounter.
Motivational self-improvement platform ChallengePact has launched on iPhone, helping users achieve their personal goals by connecting them with like-minded individuals, with the theory that groups of users can inspire each other to keep their commitments. The app allows users to create their own challenges and goals, or browse and join those listed by others.
