Moment.me adds mobile microsite creation for events
Moment.me has announced the launch of its mobile microsites feature, allowing users to create “one-stop-pop-up-shops” for events. In doing so, companies can avoid spending time and large amounts of resources creating complete mobile apps that will only be used for one or two events. The microsites look to offer all relevant information about events, in one place, while also offering additional engagement tools for boosting ticket sales, selling merchandise and more.
“Currently, all the online information about an event is scattered across the various websites of the promoter, the band, artist, or sports team, venue, and even on blogs and social media.” said Eilon Tirosh, Chairman and Co-Founder of Moment.me.
“With this new service, Moment.me uses smart aggregation to automatically bring all that information together in one place, allowing event organizers, bands and teams to easily create one mobile site for their event’s participants.”
These mobile microsites are customizable, allowing brands and businesses to offer the best experience possible for their users. These microsites also integrate with Moment.me’s “moment sharing” services, which pull in tweets, images, videos, status updates and more, creating social hubs and a “360 degree” view of events.
“These mobile microsites will serve as a digital reflection of the event and will connect brands and event promoters more directly with their relevant audience.” Added Moment.me CEO and Co-Founder Ronny Elkayam. “Our vision has always been a world where technology helps people get the most out of their real-life experiences. No matter how big or small the event, it should have a rich, mobile web representation, and now it can.”
