Words Now on iOS: Find words for each category before time runs out
Ugly Animals developer Cerasus Media has released its newest game on iOS, Words Now. The game is a mobile take on the category-based word game Scattergories, and asks players to come up with words that start with a specific letter and match randomly assigned categories.

Premium gift boxes can be spent to draw new categories and a new letter, with additional gift boxes being available to purchase with in-game coins or real money.
Rounds are timed, challenging players to type as many answers as possible, one-per-category, until time runs out or they’ve finished them all. In single-player games, the app compares each answer with words in its database to ensure the word is valid, and not just a jumble of letters submitted in an attempt to earn points.
In multiplayer games, users can manually submit answers they know to be correct, even if they aren’t in the database, and these can be agreed upon by both players once the round ends. At the end of each stage, players earn points and coins for each correct answer.
At launch, Words Now supports 26 starting categories and 25 more which can be unlocked for $0.99. Players can challenge friends via Facebook connect or email invites, or can play against random opponents asynchronously.
