DreamWorks brings Monsters vs Aliens to mobile in B.O.B.’s Super Freaky Job
DreamWorks Animation and Adrenaline have announced the launch of B.O.B.’s Super Freaky Job on iOS and Android, bringing the world and characters from DreamWorks’ popular film Monsters vs Aliens to life for a mobile audience. The game sees players navigating mazes and avoiding obstacles by rotating the world around B.O.B., the lovable pile of goo.
Each level in B.O.B.’s Super Freaky Job has a different set of goals, but most aren’t required to actually pass a stage. Instead, players are mainly tasked with rotating the world by dragging their finger left or right on the screen in order to cause B.O.B. to move with the shift in gravity. The world tilts fast, so players must look ahead of B.O.B.’s current position, to make sure he doesn’t slide into anything he shouldn’t.
At the end of each stage, players are given a look at their score and the missions they failed to complete (where applicable), and they can either move onto the next stage or replay the current stage to improve their score. Levels become increasingly difficult, but players can purchase power-ups to help them out along the way.
These power-ups include magnets that may automatically attract all necessary collectibles to B.O.B. and keycards that open locked doors, along with boosts to B.O.B.’s health, which is depleted as he runs into obstacles.
B.O.B.’s Super Freaky Job is now available to download for free, with ad-support, on iOS and Android. Check back soon to follow the game on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
