Intuition Journal looks to help users’ decision making skills on iOS
In an effort to increase the strength of our intuition, London-based mobile developer Spacer Three has announced the launch of Intuition Journal, an iPhone journal app that does more than simply document a user’s day-to-day life. The app’s goal is to help users learn how to make better decisions and become more fulfilled in their lives, escaping from feelings of self-doubt in the process.
The app contains the standard journal writing feature, but also offers writing prompts, writing exercises and intuition building techniques and tips, along with access to calendar, timeline, and tagging features so users can tag specific moments and then search for them later on.
According to Spacer Three, the development of one’s intuition can have profound effects on quality of life. That is, instead of agonizing over decisions and becoming overwhelmed, we would instead make decisions more quickly and with confidence. Using the Intuition Journal, users will, in theory, start to notice instances where hunches, gut feelings and “a-ha!” moments are already playing a part in their lives, and will learn how to tap into those feelings “on-demand.”
“Since people are pressed for time, it was important that we only include the most effective intuition building techniques that don’t require massive amounts of time,” said Michelle Ogata, CEO of Spacer Three, in a company statement. “It’s like going to the gym. You may not have an hour, or even 30 minutes, to go and workout. But, nearly everyone can spare just a few minutes to flex their intuitive muscles. Our goal is to make it as easy, fun, and effective as possible.”
