What’s the Word?, Modern War, The Simpsons on this week’s top grossing apps charts

GREE’s Modern War showed a lot of lift this week on the top grossing iOS charts, shooting up both charts to the No. 5 spot for iPad and No. 9 spot for iPhone.

Electronic Arts’ hit iOS resource management game The Simpsons: Tapped Out, which recently pulled in $23 million last quarter for EA, made its way to Android last week, and it has already cracked the top 10 at the No. 9 spot on the top grossing Android apps chart.
