What’s the Word, ForeFlight, and Fantasica on this week’s top grossing apps charts

Visual quiz game What’s the Word? from RedSpell, which ranked in the top three on the top free iOS charts this week, landed at the No. 7 spot on the top grossing iPhone apps chart this week. Electronic Arts’ The Simpsons: Tapped Out continued to remain in the top 25 on the top grossing iOS apps charts, ranking No. 24 for iPhone and No. 25 for iPad. The Simpsons-skinned resource management game was reported to have generated $23 million for EA last quarter. Flight planning app ForeFlight Mobile ranked No. 24 this week on the top grossing iPad apps chart, after hovering in the 30′s for the past few days.

Android users are starting to get their taxes together, seeing as TurboTax SnapTax ranked No. 9 on this week’s top grossing Android apps chart. Mobage’s RPG card battler Fantasica made its way to the top 25, ranking No. 14 this week.
