TurboTax, NHL, and Temple Run 2 on this week’s top grossing apps charts

With tax season upon us, people are already starting to get their taxes together. TurboTax SnapTax flew up the top grossing iPhone apps chart this week to the No. 20 spot. On the top grossing iPad apps chart, TurboTax 2012 Tax Preparation jumped up the chart to No. 10. NHL GameCenter continued its success now that the NHL season is back in full swing, landing at the No. 12 spot on iPhone and No. 8 spot on iPad. All three apps feature hefty in-app purchase items, which contribute to the high gross in revenue for each app. Temple Run 2 from Imangi Studios cracked the top 10 on both the iPhone and iPad top grossing apps charts in less than week since its release last Thursday, ranking No. 3 on iPhone and No. 9 on iPad
