Mobile-social gaming developer Storm8 today revealed that it surpassed 10 million daily active users (DAUs), doubling its DAU count in less than one year.

Storm8 also announced that its network now reaches 200 million players worldwide. The startup, which was founded in 2009, also attained 400 million downloads across its network of games. Other developers like South Korean mobile game developer and publisher Gamevil just reached 200 million downloads in December 2012.

With more than 30 apps in its stable, notable Storm8 games include Pet Shop Story, Restaurant Story and World War. The 175-person deep team also moved into the social casino and social arcade space with titles like Bubble Mania and Slots.

Another notable milestone from the Redwood City Calif.-based startup included its announcement earlier this month that it racked up two million app downloads on Christmas Day alone.
