Candy Crush Saga, Kno Textbooks, and Ruzzle on this week’s top grossing apps charts

Like Supercell’s Clash of Clans and Hay Day, social-mobile game developer King.com’s Candy Crush Saga is, for lack of a better term, crushing it on mobile. The puzzle game ranked No. 2 this week on the top grossing iPhone apps chart and No. 4 on the top grossing iPad apps chart.
Etextbook app Kno Textbooks made its way into the top 25 on the top grossing iPad apps chart this week. Another notable iPad app was NHL GameCenter 2011-2012, ranking No. 22. Hockey fans are eager to start tracking their favorite team once again now that NHL ended its lockout and will resume its season starting Saturday.
As we noted in our top free apps chart post on Monday, word game Ruzzle is exploding on mobile right now. The app made the top grossing Android apps chart this week at the No. 20 spot, and No. 11 on the iPhone chart.
