Clash of Clans, Shipwrecked, The Hobbit and more on this week’s top grossing apps charts

Angry Birds Star Wars didn’t hold the No. 1 spot on the top grossing iPhone and iPads charts, with Supercell’s Clash of Clans reclaiming the No. 1 rank on both iPhone and iPad thanks to an update adding winter-themed content. Ninja Kiwi developer strategy title Bloons TD 5 not only jumped up the top paid apps iPhone apps chart but the top grossing iPhone apps chart as well, landing at the No. 5 position.

Resource management title Shipwrecked by Kiwi quickly climbed up the top grossing Android apps chart to the No. 12 hole. The Hobbit: Kingdoms, a strategy game by developer Kabam, has been on a steady uptick and landed in the top 25 at the No. 24 spot for Android. Our review of the game can be found here.
