True Skate, Sonic Jump, Walking Dead and more on this week’s top paid app charts

Games dominated the top of the paid app charts this week. Released last week, True Axis’ skateboarding title True Skate has already made a dent on both the top paid iPhone and iPad apps charts, ranking at No. 3 on iPhone and No. 5 on iPad charts.

Sega’s Sonic franchise latest mobile game, Sonic Jump has also performed strongly climbing into the No. 4 spot on the iPhone app charts and the No. 2 spot on the iPad charts. AMC’s The Walking Dead TV series’ popularity has made its way to mobile in the form of Walking Dead: The Game for iOS devices, which ranked No. 19 on iPhone and No. 9 on iPad. Once again, Rovio’s Bad Piggies took the No. 1 spot on both iPhone and iPad.

The top paid Android apps chart saw little movement this week with only camera filter app Paper Camera making a return to the top 25 at the No. 24 spot.
