The Simpsons, Airport City, Bike Race Free and more on this week’s top grossing apps charts

An update to Electronic Arts’ The Simpsons: Tapped Out added Treehouse of Horror content, pushing the game to the No. 1 spot on both the iPhone and iPad top grossing apps lists. Other than that, there wasn’t much movement on both the iPhone and iPad lists, with the usual suspects present in the top 25.

An update on Monday for Game Insight’s resource management game Airport City moved the title from the No. 23 spot on Monday to No. 9 spot today on the top grossing Android apps list. Physics-based motorcycle game Bike Race Free has steadily rose up the ranks and landed at the No. 19 position this week on Android.
