Bingo Bash, Wipeout, The Simpsons and more on this week’s top grossing iOS app charts

Overall we didn’t see much change on the charts this week, with familiar apps like Pandora Radio, DragonVale, Poker by Zynga and Slotomania all ranking near the top of the charts and Rage of Bahamut once again taking the No. 1 spot on iPhone.
BitRhymes’ iOS version of its Facebook bingo game Bingo Bash HD took the No. 1 spot on this week’s chart of top grossing iPad apps, dethroning Kabam’s social city building Sim Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North which dropped to the No. 2 spot.
One notable newcomer is Activision’s Wipeout, a game based on the ABC television show of the same name. It posted a solid debut, coming in at the No. 8 spot on the iPhone top grossing apps chart. EA’s The Simpsons: Tapped Out, a city-building game based on the beloved animated series, is also still holding its ground near the top of the charts this week, taking the No. 4 spot on iPhone and the No. 6 spot on iPad, proving perhaps that there is lasting appeal to the game that goes beyond brand recognition.
