DragonVale, Rage of Bahamut, Ice Age Village and more on this week’s top grossing iOS app charts

Backflip Studios’ animal care game DragonVale and DeNA’s card battle game Rage of Bahamut continue to take turns at the top of the grossing iOS app charts. This week Rage of Bahamut took the No. 1 spot, pushing DragonVale down to the No. 3 spot. Mobage’s platform operator DeNA announced its plans to capitalize on Rage of Bahamut’s successful formula by applying it to Marvel and Transformers themed games.

Two other notable gainers on the top grossing iPhone chart are Machine Zone’s Global War, which climbed 10 spots to take the No. 24 spot, and Gameloft’s city sim Ice Age Village, which rose 61 spots to take the No. 25 spot.

On the top grossing iPad apps chart Ice Age Village moved up 36 spots to take the No. 7 spot, while PopCap’s Bejeweled Blitz climbed 10 spots to take the No. 15 spot.
