DragonVale, Bejeweled Blitz, Dark Summoner and more on this week’s top grossing iOS apps

Once again, it seems that DragonVale can’t spend much time outside the top spot, as the animal care game climbs back into the top grossing position on both the iPhone and iPad charts, dropping DeNA’s Rage of Bahamut to the No. 2 spot on the iPhone app chart. Previous chart topper CSR Racing falls slightly this week, dropping to No. 5 on iPhone and No. 6 on the iPad charts.
Lower down the charts, EA PopCap’s Bejeweled Blitz takes the No. 7 spot on the top grossing iPhone app chart and the No. 13 spot on the top grossing iPad app chart. During yesterday’s quarterly earnings call, EA revealed that Bejeweled Blitz is the company’s top performing mobile game.
Finally Ateam’s Dark Summoner also performs well on the top grossing iPhone app charts. Earlier this month industry watcher and analyst Dr. Serkan Toto, reported the game is currently making more than $1.3 million a month on iOS, although reviewing the game’s performance on the top grossing charts through AppData shows that is it gaining ground, meaning it could be making even more now.
