Emerging free iOS apps: Deer Hunter Reloaded, Kingdom Age

Glu Mobile leads both the free iPhone and iPad charts this week with its game Deer Hunter Reloaded, the latest entry in the long-running Deer Hunter series of games. The free-to-play game bills itself as the most realistic and authentic hunting sim on iOS. The latest version of the game adds an X-Ray vision mode, customizable avatars and leaderboards. The game monetizes through in-app purchases of premium currency.
Funzio also has a strong debut with its new to-iOS game Kingdom Age. Originally a Google+ exclusive, Funzio has brought the title to Facebook and iOS. Kingdom Age was released on April 18 and is this week’s No. 2 free iPad app. The No. 2 iPhone app is Viddy. The video sharing application has seen an enormous rise in popularity in the last 30 days.
